Welcome to Junior Derby, where confidence grows, friendships form, and kids discover just how powerful they can be on eight wheels.

Registration

Our Juniors program offers rolling enrollment, so your skater can join at any time…no need to wait for a new session to begin.

Registration is structured in 3-month enrollment blocks, giving skaters time to build skills, confidence, and community on the track.

While we highlight seasonal start dates (like our February–April session), new skaters are always welcome to jump in and get rolling.

Who It’s For

Our Juniors program is open to kids of all genders, ages 7-17. No prior skating experience is required, just a willingness to try something new and have fun.

Younger skaters (ages 7-12) focus on positional skating, while older skaters (13-17) are introduced to modified contact in a safe, supportive environment.

What to Expect

Practices are structured to help skaters grow at their own pace while staying engaged and excited. Skaters will develop strong foundational skating skills, learn the rules and flow of roller derby, and most importantly, have a great time doing it!

What to Bring

Come ready to move, learn, and roll.

Skaters should bring any gear they already have (helmet, pads, and skates), wear comfortable athletic clothing, and pack both a black and a white shirt for drills. Don’t forget water and any necessary medications like inhalers.

Don’t Have Gear Yet?

No problem! Seriously. Just show up.

We have loaner gear available (deposit required), and we’re happy to help get your skater set up. If you know you’ll need gear, send us a quick email ahead of time so we can be ready for you. We’re also proudly partnered with Jack’s Board House for gear support.
